About Us

We moved to the state of North Carolina in the year 2019.  We started out on the coast by Wilmington but soon realized we would be much happier in the mountains.  We are avid campers and love being close to nature.  We had a plan to buy or start a cabin and/or camping business in the Smokey Mountain area.  When we stumbled upon Laurel Mountain Retreat we thought what a wonderful location and the cabins were beautiful.  We knew right away this was the place for us.  We want to make Laurel Mountain Retreat a place where everyone wants to return and feels relaxed once they leave.  We hope we make everyone's stay a time they will remember with happy thoughts!
